Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was a man born during the early 1900's. As a kid Ansel was a different kid. He couldn't sit still or concentrate very easily. His dad saw this and let him learn in his own way. He learn piano and was very good at it and wanted to be a concert pianist when he grew older. Then he went out to Yosemite and fell in love with it and photography. He married a girl there and he quit being a piano player and switched to photography. He was very successful in his career.  He had an amazing work ethic. He would often work 12-14 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But because of this his marriage struggled. In the end his marriage worked out well. He was a true american, he showed through his work what he cared for and made a difference by doing it. He wanted to preserve the wild that was going away in the US. Through out his life he photographed the wild in america to show everybody what they were missing. He ended up being one of the lead conservationists of his time.

Ansel Adams

I love how the landscape reflects off the flat water and how the canyon kind of goes right down the middle of the picture.

The clouds in this picture are awesome how they start right by the rocks kind of.
